About

My name is Zovinar Khrimian. I am a design researcher and communications professional based in Philadelphia, PA.

I received my BA in Visual Studies from the University of Pennsylvania in 2021, centering my coursework around visual culture, art, and media. My deep interest in the way the visual world shapes our experiences and beliefs emerged as I navigated the colorful worlds of fashion, art, and cinema as a girl growing up in New York City.

I currently work as a Program Coordinator in the Drexel University Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics. I am the key point of contact for marketing and communications, events, technical support, and all-around admin within the department.

As a full time employee at Drexel, I completed my Master of Science in Design Research, bringing an analytical approach to service design practice. My thesis focused on identifying the mechanisms shaping healthy behavior in young adults. With this in mind, it is my aspiration to improve people’s everyday lives through qualitative research for effective human-centered design.
